Zooming in to Disentangle Convoluted Pieces of Script
Looking up-close at a handwritten word is often an effective way to quicken its deciphering. Though this initial version of the Spanish Paleography Digital and Learning Tool does not have a “magnifying lens” or zooming mechanism of its own, because this Tool and its contents are viewed online, you can perfectly take advantage of the browser-based zooming functions to take a closer look at any part of the digital copies of manuscripts contained in the Tool. Hold down the “Ctrl” key and press the plus-sign (“+”) key to zoom in, and hold down the “Ctrl” key and press the minus-sign (“-“) to zoom out.
